Wow! Renata is officially 3 years old! Just too amazing! She had a fantastic birthday party with her buddies here in Germany and a good time was had by all. We enjoyed welcoming Louisa, Nikolas, Nick & Vanessa to celebrate the big day with Renata. They had lots of fun jumping in the Hüpfburg (bouncy-bounce), eating cake, "bobbing" for pretzels, and popping balloons with their tooshies! By the way, Renata was lucky enough to have two cakes on her birthday. One we ordered from our local bakery and the other was a special cake made by Louisa's mom (Daniella) to look like a train - very cool! Also, note the beautiful wooden clogs from Holland given to her by Nick. We hope you guys enjoy the pics and wish you'd been able to join us (just a little distance issue though!) After a great visit with Grandma Trish and a little breather we are back to bussiness. Boy how the year has flown. The second semester has begun for Glen. The weather here has been amazing for the last 3 or 4 weeks. It's like summer here already. The Job search is getting really serious I have had two phone interviews thus far. One was with Scotia-Glenville and the other in North Carolina Cary Academy(Private College Prep School). Also I have applied for a college positon in Kutztown PA and another Prep School in Louisville Kentucky as backups. Still no word from Colorado. Well enough serious stuff heres some pics of our trip to Italy with Grandma Trish and her time with us here in Mainz.
