Hi Everyone!

Well, we finally have our camera up & running again! We had to buy a card-reader for the computer because for some reason our computer stopped recognizing the camera every time we'd try to download! What the hecky?!?!? Anyway, its all good now and we are once again looking forward to a visit. This time it is Grandma Trish who will be making the long journey to our Budenheim abode! We can't wait to see her!!!!! Glen is still working hard to finish his papers and will have the final two complete and ready to hand in on 3/15. This is also the day of Mom's arrival, so 3/15 is a BIG day!!! Well the winter has brought a lot of sickness for our Little Miss Renata. She can't seem to hardly get over one thing before another hits but we are hopeful that with Spring arriving soon, the "german germies" will slow down a bit! Glen is also recovering nicely from his sinus surgery and we hope that he stays good and healthy from here on out. Also, I have been doing some English tutoring and it has been interesting and fun! We hope you enjoy the pics on this post - they are various (gee, this happens when you don't post to your blog but every 2 months)! You'll see there are some from Karnival (Mardi Gras) and the Rosen Montag Parade in Mainz where Renata dressed up as "Dora Bear" and Glen as a "German Freak" and you'll also notice the " 'W' getting spanked by the Statute of Liberty with the Bible float" (political and social commentary are common in this parade) . We had a great vantage point from 4 stories up in Heike's apartment and had a nice time! Here we also have a pic of Renata with her new friend Louisa on a recent playdate. Then, on our trip to Prague with Grandma Lana, we visited Glen's Czech relatives. During that trip, Renata took her first try at ice skating (didn't go so well...) Oh yeah, and we caught Grandma Lana & Renata taking a snooze after all the Christmas excitement in Rotenberg! Lastly, Wendy, the pic of the inside of our fridge is for you! Hope you enjoy! Take Care everyone - we miss you all and can't wait to see everyone again real soon! Love, Julie, Glen & Renata
