Frohe Weihnnachten aus Deutschland!! Merry Christmas from Germany! At last I post again!! Hope you all enjoy these pics from this past week. Lana arrived on Wednesday 12/13 and we have been having a fun time! And Glen & Julie even got to go on a date (and do some gift shopping) this past Saturday while Renata & Grandma Lana hung out at home! Yay! A much needed date after a 5+ month hiatis... Then, on Sunday we all traveled far and wide on the trains to get to Rüdesheim (am Rhein) where they hold an annual international Christmas Market. Rüdesheim is a medieval town on the Rhein but is on the opposite side of the Rhine as where we live so we had to take a round-about way to get there by train but it was a fun adventure! Lana treated us to a nice meal at a traditional German restaurant and Renata got to ride on a few rides (including a choo choo train) and go to a petting zoo that included rabbits and guinea pigs running around a little pen with miniature buildings! We even got to eat Spanish Churros with chocolate sauce and a "to die for" dessert dumpling filled with cherry and topped with vanilla sauce & chocolate shavings!!!! We hope you're salavating!!!!
